Social Interaction is the interactive process by which a person learn the rules of norms of a society. There are many different types of social interaction but competition is a main one that is very present in societies today. Competition is the act of competing against someone or something when a resource or action is needed and there is a low supply of it. Competition is not only found between two or more people but also in a variety of other areas in society. Unbroken, a novel written by Laura Hilenbaug, talks about various aspects of competition in society. She talks about the struggles of a solider fighting in World War II and his daily obstacles he has to overcome. Competition comes into play when limited resources are at hand that there is usually enough to go around. Secondly, due to poor or lack of mobile phone signals especially in remote areas, the safety of the surveyors was compromised and led to poor results that were gathered. The third and the most significant issue that arose was that of response to clients queries. Poor mobile signals meant that the response to queries presented by the clients was all not adequately addressed and these led to a stream of complaints that arose. Due to these factors that negatively affected communications between the office and the surveyors, there were a number of issues that could have been considered. Among these issues are the methodologies of effective communication (Ferraro and Brody, 2015). The most common standard of communication are writing and speaking. Most of the communication is practically oral although in modern age communication with the rise in communication technology has led to increase in written communication. In most offices, the sender and the receivers mostly talk via emails, telephones, and internet -conferencing. While the sender speaks in oral or written, the receiver listens and may send feedbacks (Coombs, 2014). Communication is an element of great importance in human relations, the human being, by nature, requires interacting with other people to be able to satisfy their needs of affection and socialization, this is achieved through various means of communication. The heart is one of the main components in this system. The heart pumps oxygenated blood and the tubes, also known as blood vessels, carries the oxygenated blood to every cell in the body and is then returned to the heart as deoxygenated blood. There’s a thick layer of muscle called myocardium that contract and squeeze out blood. In the heart, there is the atrium – the part that receives the blood – and the ventricle, which pumps blood out of the heart. There are four chambers in total: left atrium, left ventricle, right atrium, and right ventricle. The left-hand side of the heart pumps blood from the lungs to the rest of your body. This is known as the systemic circulation. The right-hand side pumps blood from the heart to the lungs and this is known as the pulmonary circulation. Blood is the fluid that constantly flows throughout our bodies. The blood carries nutrients, water, oxygen, and waste products to and from the body cells. There are two types of blood cells: the red blood cell which is responsible for transporting oxygen and carbon dioxide and the white blood cell which helps the body fight off and attack germs, foreign substances, and unwanted bacteria. The heart pumps blood through the blood vessels. The blood vessels lead away from the heart and enter the tissues, then return to the heart. There are three types of blood vessels. The first are the arteries which are large vessels that carry blood from the heart to the tissues. Arteries then branch into smaller and smaller vessels, ultimately becoming capillaries. Capillaries (smallest of the blood vessels) bring nutrients and oxygen to the tissues and pick up carbon dioxide and other waste products. Capillaries then merge to form larger vessels, called venules, which merge to form even larger vessels called veins. The veins return blood to the heart. Because we only want blood to run in one direction, veins have valves, which ensure that the blood keeps moving in the direction we want it to, towards the heart. Platelets are cells that help stop the bleeding when an organism, usually humans, receives a cut or a wound anywhere on their body. Platelets stick to the opening of the damaged blood vessels. As they stick to the opening, more platelets, fibers and other blood cells will come and help heal the broken blood vessel. Some chemicals found in blood are hemoglobin and plasma. Hemoglobin is the chemical substance in the red cells that is involved in the transport of oxygen. Plasma is the liquid part of the blood, in which the blood cells are suspended. Approximately half of your blood is made of plasma. The plasma carries the blood cells and other components throughout the body. Diseases in the circulatory system include the cardiovascular disease which refers to the divisions of diseases that involve the heart or the blood vessels – arteries and veins and the congenital heart defect which is a defect in the structure of the heart and vessels of a newborn baby. Most heart defects either barricade the blood flow in the heart or vessels or cause to flow through the heart in an abnormal pattern. Other diseases or disorders are high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke. Like most other disorders, it is easier to prevent than cure cardiovascular (heart and blood vessel) disorders. Realistically who is to say that the man who was hired with the pre-school children was not a single father, or had a working wife that was home less than he was? Mother's along with fathers have an equal responsibility in the care of their children, and both could find proper care so that job performance would stand unaffected. This includes targeting specific areas which have been identified by the central government. Local communities and their populations have very little input with respect to these strategies. The government has determined that regional strategies is not only â€Å"bureaucratic†, but also â€Å"undemocratic†.2 Part 5 of the Localism Bill 2010 will therefore set out to abrogate regional strategies.3 Part 5 of the Localism Bill also intends to address the current planning framework’s instructive and dictator approach by introducing neighbourhood planning.4 In other words, rather than being told by the Government what should be built and where and â€Å"how they should look,† the Localism Bill will confer upon communities the right to compose its own â€Å"neighbourhood development plan†.5 Local populations are at liberty to vote by virtue of referendum on a neighbourhood development plan if it is consistent with the country’s policy for planning and the â€Å"strategic vision for the wider area by the local authority and with other legal requirements†.6 This immediately invites questions as to whether local populations are qualified to make this kind of determination. Should the majority choose a neighbourhood development plan that is inconsistent with the country’s policy, the law, or the local authority’s vision for the wider area, the neighbourhood is ultimately left with no neighbourhood plan and will have to plan and vote all over again. A lot of time can be wasted this way and will defeat the purpose of the planning provisions under the Localism Bill relative to saving time in the planning process. Although the Localism Bill requires that local planning official lend technical support to neighbourhoods in planning their neighbourhood’s development, there is no guarantee that this support will be accepted or understood. I n addition, individual minds may be made up and no amount of advice and support will change those minds. The community’s right to build is also a novel idea and will only provide for neighbourhood development. Under Part 5 of the Localism Bill, individual groups will have the opportunity to put forth smaller development projects. These projects can include businesses, shops and dwelling houses.
